TUSCALOOSA, AL – WOW 2.0 held at Shelton State Community College resulted in 610 emergency job offers made to high school seniors from eight of nine counties in the West Alabama region.

The event focused on high school seniors, with 25 companies attending to hire 1,100 jobs. In total, 230 students attended, and saw 192 more emergency job offers than the previous year.
The companies present included: Alabama Credit Union, ARD Logistics, Bama Dining, BFGoodrich, Bibb Medical Center, Brasfield & Gorrie, Bryce Hospital, Chick-fil-A, DCH Health System, Foster Farms, Jolly Heating Air & Conditioning Inc. Lear Corporation, Mary Starke Harper Center for Geriatric Psychiatry, North River Yacht Club, Motherson-SMP, Premier Service Company, Inc. , Schnellecke Logistics Alabama, Remmert & Company, Taylor Hardin, Turner & Schoel, Tuscaloosa County Park and Recreation Authority, Valmont Utility, Warrior Met Coal, WestRock and ZF Tuscaloosa.
