The message: Free meals at school improve education

Goff Justice announces a $20 million expansion of nursing education programs

Kudos to New Mexico Gov. Michael Lujan Grisham (“New Mexico OK Meals for All Students,” Star-Advertiser, March 28).

Free school meals as part of the public school system results in a better learning environment. Let’s follow suit and effect much-needed change for all students within the Hawaii Department of Education.

The next step, or at the same time, maybe even teachers! Imwa!
