Every year more than one child fails the ninth place. He is said to have revolutionized education. It’s amazing.”
Laying the cornerstone of the new building blocks at Rajkiya Sarvodaya Kanya/Bal Vidyalaya in East Vinod Nagar, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said on Saturday that the envisioned quality of the future school would be like that of Columbia University.

Kejriwal said the project was planned by his former deputy Manish Sisodia and will have 93 rooms of which classes will be held in 71 and 22 rooms will be used for laboratories, library, activity, staff rooms and head office. The school currently operates in two shifts with 5,000 students.
CM added that students currently studying at the school can learn four international languages, French, German, Spanish and Japanese, which are not taught even by many private schools in Delhi. “The universe and God are testing people who walk the path of truth. Today, Atishi and I may be laying the foundation for this new school building, but when it is ready by February next year, Manish and I will inaugurate it.
Calling Sisodia the architect of Delhi’s “education revolution”, Kejriwal said his achievements had an impact across the country and were behind “the decision to send him behind bars”. When one walks the path of truth, all the “devilish forces” conspire against them, said Kejriwal, citing Lord Ram, who was banished for 14 years, as an example.
Taking off at CM, Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva claimed, “Kejriwal should know that a school has not been successful because of a good building but it is the faculty and good results that make a school successful…”
Meanwhile, a war of words broke out between Kejriwal and BJP Delhi spokesperson Harish Khurana over the earlier “less educated” taunts against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Khurana tweeted videos of purported answer papers for class XI students from Delhi government schools, claiming, “Watch the reality of Delhi government schools. This is an education revolution @ArvindKejriwal. 3 marks out of 80 for one child, 5 marks for some, 9 marks for some.”
Every year more than one child fails the ninth place. It is said to have revolutionized education. It’s amazing.”
Kejriwal in response to Khurana said, “If some children are weak in studies, we will educate them by organizing additional classes. One of these children will become the future Prime Minister of the country. We do not want anyone to become the future Prime Minister with a fake degree.”
