YOUNGSTOWN – Mr. Nathaniel Ahmad Brett, 36, has moved from his worldly work to eternal rest, Saturday, April 1, 2023.
Mr. Brett was born on May 9, 1986, in Youngstown, the son of Jeffrey L. Brett Sr. and Libchen Bryant. Graduated from Youngstown City Schools and attended BBC Barbershop College. Nathaniel was a licensed barber with Blazin Klipz. He enjoyed cutting hair, tattooing, washing his car, fashion, music, spending time with his children, and collecting comic books. He was a true family man and loved Chevrolet cars.
Nathaniel leaves to mourn his death, but to celebrate his life, his ex-wife Ashley Sutton, whom he married on May 20, 2013; his mother, Libchen (Mitch) Bryant Collins of Warren; his father, Jeffrey (Yvette M.) Brett, is from Florida; five children, Demir Williams and Janasia Brett, both from Youngstown, and Natalie Brett, Nathaniel Brett II, and Madeline Brett, all from Warren; his protégé, Jaden Sutton-Lett of Youngstown; siblings, Madeline Fleming, Tondie Wilson and Jeffrey Brett Jr., all from California, Remy Collins from Warren and Tanesha Tubbs from Tennessee; Grandma, Alice Brett; And a group of family and friends.
His grandparents, E. O. Britt, Madeline Amos, and Alton Bryant, preceded him in death; and uncles, Shawn Griffin Sr. and Alton Myers.
Visiting will be from 10-11am Thursday 13th April 2023 at the LE Black, Phillips and Holden Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m
Guests are required to wear masks due to the pandemic and observe social distancing.
