Sunrise, Florida. The Mega South Florida Job Fair is taking place next week in Broward County and organizers say there are more than 2,000 jobs available from 100 different employers.
The job fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 27, at the FLA Live Arena on One Panther Parkway in Sunrise.
The event is free and so is parking, but attendance is required Pre-registration for the online event.
Some of the companies that attend the job fair include the Florida Panthers/FLA Live Arena, the Sunrise Police Department, and the YMCA of South Florida.
According to the organizers, employers in the medical, insurance and travel industry are also expected to be present at the fair looking for workers.

• Dress professionally as if you were attending a job interview.
• Practice your customized presentation, which should summarize your skills and experience.
• Make a good – and lasting – first impression with every recruiter.
• Bring several copies of your updated resume or work history to the event.
Health and safety guidelines:
• As an attendee, you may wear a mask
• Make use of manual sanitation stations throughout the venue.
• If you are ill, do not attend.
