

Marcella Ann “Poshi” Lorson, 87, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at her home.
Born August 17, 1935, in Williamsport, she was the daughter of the late Frank Stachowski and the former Martha Putzrebowski. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Michael Lorson. brothers Paul and Charles Stachowski; and three sisters, Florence Zeidel, Carolyn Hoover, and Betty Timpescu.
Bushey and her loving husband, John, owned the AP Lorson fruit farm for 55 years. She was a devoted member of the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Bastries. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and she touched the lives of many with her kindness and unwavering faith. Boshi has always made her loved ones feel appreciated and cherished, making every grandchild feel like their own favorite! Bosch’s legacy of love and faith she left behind will be cherished forever.
Although we mourn her loss, we are comforted to know that Bushie is now with her Lord and Savior, where she will experience eternal peace and joy.
She is survived by her husband, John E. Lorson. Children, Anthony M. (Barb) Lorson, from Linden, Richard D. (Cathy) Lorson, from Myersdale, Susan B. (Jeff) Miller, from Jersey Shore, Pamela C. (Dan) Lazorca, from Williamsport, Laurie A. (Dwayne) Day, of Mechanicsburg, Kenneth G. (Kim) Lorson, of Big Flats, NY, Michele E. (Dave) Schall, of Williamsport, Randy J. (Esther) Lorson, of Williamsport, Barry T. Loganton, Cynthia M Peacock, from Williamsport, Vicki E. (Kurt) Brongard, from Williamsport, and Jennifer L. (Matt) Alice from Williamsport; 43 grandchildren; 65 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Chris Ake, from Williamsport.

The Christian Burial Mass will take place at 1pm on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at the Immaculate Conception Church, 6001 Jack Hollow Road, Williamsport. Visiting times will be held at 1-3 and 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at the Frederick B. She will be buried in the Immaculate Conception Church cemetery. Father Bert Cosin will take over.
