City says 7,000 summer jobs are available for Boston youth ages 14 to 18

Linda K. passed away. and Ray, 75, Altoona, on Monday at UPMC Altoona after a three-year battle with cancer. She was born in Altoona, the daughter of the late Eugene L. and Ella Mae (Riegel) Kunsman.

On March 24, 1979, in Dover, Del., she married the love of her life, Terry Wray, of Altoona.

Linda was the area manager of optometry for Walmart Inc. She worked in several different states which allowed her to travel a lot. She retired after 17 years of service.

Linda and her husband, Terry, resided in Florida during the winter months. I enjoyed going to the beach and working on the flower beds. Linda adored her family, especially her grandchildren. She was very proud of each and every one of them.

She is survived by her husband, Terry Ray, of Altoona, 44. five children: Lisa Baker (Paul) of Altoona, Timothy Johnston (Kim) of Altoona, Robert Ray (Bonnie) of Hagerstown, Maryland, Todd Ray (Cherry) of Altoona and Melissa Seltzer (Bell) of Harrisburg; 23 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; Four siblings: Robert Coonsman (Janet) of Altoona, Patricia Foner (Ronald) of Millsboro, Del. , Gene Wheren (Barry) from Isleboro, Maine, and Gary Kunsman (Betsy) from Altoona. Also outlived are her cute canine companions, Lily Mae and Lucy Lou.

Friends are welcome from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at The Good Funeral Home Inc. 108 Alto-Reste Park, Altoona; And from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., the funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2023, at the Condolences Home. Reverend Ralph Hammer will be the referee. The burial will be private at Alto-Reste Park, Altoona.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Linda may be made to the Central Pennsylvania Humane Society, 1837 E. Pleasant Valley Blvd. Altoona, PA 16602.
