
Giulio was born in Warren, on June 25, 1930, to parents Vincenzo Fiore and Sisidia Cianciosi.
He graduated from John Carroll University with a BA in Accounting and was active in the ROTC program. He was commissioned a second lieutenant and stationed in West Germany. He was discharged from the US Army with the rank of First Lieutenant.
Julio married the love of his life, Nancy Ann Vitro, on February 6, 1954. Julio was a co-owner and manager of El Rio with his brother, Gabriele Fiore. The restaurant was later known as Fiore’s Ristorante, and it was a popular strip eatery in Warren for half a century.
He will be remembered for his three daughters Julio Balesteros, Caroline (Daniel) Kenavy and Teresa (Daniel) as Sontos Julio; his granddaughter, Christa Graham; and his grandchildren, Austin Jewell, and Isabella and Gianna Graham. and Julio will forever miss his brother, Gabriele (Sally) Fiore of Warren; and his sister, Letizia (David) Lohmann, of Warren.
Giulio’s death was preceded by his parents; his wife of 66 years, Nancy Ann; His brother, Mario. and his sons-in-law, Rodolfo Ballesteros and Michael Raub.
Family and friends can pay their respects to Giulio from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 25, 2023, with a memorial service at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 381 Robbins Ave. Niles, OH 44446, with Rev. Michael Marcelli.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church of the Nile or Trumbull County Animal Welfare Association.
