Gov. Abbott discusses parents’ rights to education at a San Antonio event

Goff Justice announces a $20 million expansion of nursing education programs

San Antonio Greg Abbott is in San Antonio on Thursday to talk about parents’ rights to a child’s education during the Parent Empowerment Night event.

The event takes place at 6 pm Thursdays at St. Mary Magdalene School.

According to a press release, the event aims to bring together parents, education leaders, and elected officials to discuss the “path to expand parental rights” in Texas education.

The Governor will be joined at the event by Archbishop of San Antonio Gustavo García Siler, St. Mary Magdalene School Superintendent William Daley, St. Mary Magdalene School Pastor Rev. William Combs and others.
