Do you or someone you know need to take a hunter education course?

The Magic Valley region will offer an instructor-led hunter class at the Magic Valley Regional Office, Hunter Education Building, April 26-29, 2023. Classes will run for three weeks from 5:30pm-8:00pm on Saturday, April 29th Class starts from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm

Remember, if someone wants to apply to hunt controlled big game and has never had a hunting license or taken a hunter education class, they will need to successfully complete a hunter education course before they can purchase a hunting license and apply for a controlled hunt.

Hunter education classes are required for anyone born after January 1, 1975, who must complete a hunter education course as a prerequisite to purchasing a hunting license in Idaho. Students must be at least 9 years old to attend a hunter education class.

To register, go to the Fish and Game website, and select Hunter Ed Personal Courses.
