The Fairfax County Public Schools special education teacher has been charged with four counts of taking inappropriate liberties with a student.
On April 12, principals at James Madison High School notified law enforcement after a student disclosed an inappropriate sexual relationship with a teacher, Fairfax Police said in a news release.
“Investigators have determined that Aliyah Kherdmand, 33, of Reston, had had unlawful contact with Taleb over the past several months,” the statement read.
On Thursday, Khiradmand was arrested and charged with four counts of indecent liberties by the guardian. Kherdmand is currently being held without bond.
The statement stated that specialists from the Victim Services Division of the Police Department have been appointed to ensure that the victim receives appropriate resources and assistance.
