This used to be seen as an advantage, but it is not widely believed to be the minimum. A clear gap is emerging between what employers are willing to provide and what workers expect, and things may start to spiral out of control in the near future.
61% of tech employees said remote working is their favorite aspect of their jobs, with 25% citing benefits and 21% saying they enjoyed the company’s headquarters location. It’s clear that remote work is becoming a bigger priority for people who work in technology, and it will be interesting to see what the long-term effects of this change are. Also, 34% of workers are dissatisfied with their paychecks, although worsening inflation is unlikely to be addressed anytime soon.
